Tags: also, so, okay, , obv, except, A LOT, we live in this world, i love sitr, but so much of it is just ridic, the Broadway Melody sequence makes up for everything, and then some, the more i watch it, and i've watched it kind of a lot, the more i love jean hagen, she does so SO much for the movie, and furthermore, it is super sad to me, that the censors required a cut, during the broadway melody ballet sequence, i always notice it, that little jump, i wonder how different a world we'd be living in today, if 1952 audiences, had had their minds blown, by whatever the steamy move was, that they weren't allowed to see, but i still wonder. Tags: rape culture, so yeah, , i dunno, part of me thinks the best thing to do, is just ignore the crap out of those people, shun them and relegate them to a part of society, that we simply don't acknowledge, AGGRESSIVELY ignore them, I also think we should have joined hands and sung, , rather than upending our society, and giving stature to brutish people, who wanted to pursue a violent response, after 9/11, but we don't live on a dust speck on a dandelion, we live in this world, I'm down with loveforlesliej, but just so you know, please don't assume anything in particular, if you ever notice, me being silent about the current outrage, mass shootings, horrible people doing horrible things, holding hands in a circle and singing, as if literally nothing terrible has happened, is also a valid response.
