Note: I've turned off editing in the wiki, at least for now. Email jbc@west.net if you have questions/concerns about that. Thank you, wiki spammers.
Welcome to the lies.com wiki, where you can put your mark on the world (or at least this web site). If the wiki concept is unfamiliar to you, here's the basic lowdown:
- Anyone can edit any page. It's drop-dead simple. Just click the "Edit text of this page" link at the bottom of any page.
- When editing a page, you just use plain text, with a few very simple extras: enter a blank line between paragraphs, use an asterisk (*) at the beginning of a line to make a bullet list, enter a full URL to get an external link, and so on. See TextFormattingRules for details.
- To add a new page to the wiki, just enter a word in StudlyCaps. It will automatically be linked to the wiki page of the same name, unless that page doesn't exist yet, in which case the word will get a trailing question mark. Click on that question mark to create the new page.
- Don't bother messing up this page. Anyone can set it back to a previous version.
A couple of notes on the word "Wiki". Wiki is Hawaiian for "quick". If you fly into the Honolulu International Airport, you can go to the parking lots via the "Wiki Wiki" buses, or "quick quick" buses... 'but they're anything but quick.'
