Tags: birds, alhu, though if i were ebirding, i’d enter it, as rufous/allen’s, b/c the females/juveniles, which this one is, are very hard to distinguish in the field, and even though, we only get a lot of rufouses, during spring migration, theyre still _possible_ the rest of the year, and rather thsn have a date-specific rule, i just enter them all as rufous/allen’s, and call it a day.
