Okay, upon re-watch (because yes, I re-watch since these episodes are so good and yet so painfully short) there were so many shipper-y things that happened with Lenore and H.G.!
1) Lenore rewarding H.G. with a high five for slamming Ernest, which H.G. promptly failed to do properly like the beautiful nerd he is.
2) H.G. defending Lenore after Oscar accuses her of killing the psychic.
3) Lenore eagerly volunteering to go off with H.G. on another one of his weird invention escapades.
4) H.G. saying my dear Lenore with those goggles on.
