Dear Tumblr,
I don’t care how much you were paid. Advertising Anabelle (the movie about the doll from The Conjuring) on people’s blogs who didn’t ask to be shown these ads is a dick move. Don’t you see all the blogs tagging trigger warnings and “no jump scares”? A lot of people are afraid of dolls and horror films. I have automatonophobia (that’s a fear of false representations of the human form. so dolls, mannequins, statues, et cetera.) I’m at the point where I’m considering avoiding tumblr until the ads go away.
Fix this.
