Lights & Shadows: You know the bit with the dancers?
Lights & Shadows: You know the bit with the dancers?:
I read a comment on youtube earlier that mentioned something I hadn’t noticed: The lyrics of the song they are dancing to has a direct quote from the book, matter of fact from the fortune teller scene: “The eagerness of a listener quickens the tongue of a narrator”, which is something Jane says…
Said it before; saying it again: I love it when AoJE bends the boundaries of what an adaptation webseries can do. That dance video in the middle of yesterday’s craziness was wonderful and incomprehensible and perfect. I watched it on my phone in the Solana Beach train terminal, feeling like I was part of something weird and silly and a little subversive. And like I said: loved it.
Okay. Cone of No-Meta descending again.

Tags: AoJE, about which i make a conscious effort not to post meta, i think because i enjoy the show's commitment to making jane seem real, and want to honor that by playing along, but every now and then i can't help myself, and this was one of those times.
