Poor John. Who says “poor John”? Don’t everybody sob at once.
When I first saw Excalibur, one of my favorite things about it was how Nigel Terry got to go from playing The Lion in Winter’s sniveling Prince John to playing the badass King Arthur. And they put the transition on-screen, kind of, because for those few minutes at the tournament pre-sword-pulling, he’s basically playing John.
