I notice most of those eager to kill him haven’t actually read any of his books… in fact, I don’t think anyone on that list had read ‘Satanic Verses’.

I don’t know how I got sucked into that site, but once started I couldn’t stop. It is so hard for me to believe people are that bad, liberals, conservatives, christians, jews, muslims, hindu, whatever. I know the blood of history marks me for a fool, but still I have a hard time remembering there are people so full of hate. I found myself wishing it were a hoax page.
