  • tomorrow is the christmas count, and so far i’ve been unable to locate an overwintering rufous hummingbird
  • my life partner is not feeling well
  • all that is going to be set aside now so i can play roadie for my son, because his band is playing their second show ever tonight
  • bring on the volume (also, earplugs)
  • i’m ready

Because I can’t help but identify this sort of thing: That’s the 405 freeway looking south from a plane landing at LAX.

I grew up in a neighborhood you can’t see because it’s behind the wing.
