I’m inclined to think that this was meant as a fun game pointing (eventually) to that deciphering that happens in “The Gold Bug”. And if so, yeah, it was fun!
I suspect the trail doesn’t lead further than that. But as is abundantly clear from other predictions I’ve made, I’m really bad at predicting things. 🙂
The Urgent (@aTellTaleTweet) account is leaving hints about going back to the beginning and following footnotes, so perhaps this /is/ an indication of what’s to come… (I haven’t found anything by looking at the really old ATTV videos but the clues could also be pointing there, I guess)
I believe I’ve figured out the clues tweeted today. Unfortunately they don’t appear to do more (so far) than help one decipher the “footnotes” – which at least a few of us had already done.
Based on today’s tweets, and the caginess they showed during the finale livestream re: the epilogue, I suspect these clues will eventually provide a way to view to the epilogue video. But it might be that the trail doesn’t lead that far yet. For now I’m going to catch up on my sleep and try again tomorrow.
