By the way, in case there is anyone else on the planet besides me who:

  • is old enough to have watched TOS as it aired,
  • grew up rewatching it in reruns,
  • regularly quotes favorite episodes well into the sixth decade of life, and
  • was somehow not aware that for the re-release that happened a few years back, and that is currently available in full on Netflix, they did small and tasteful but WHOA LOOK AT THE GORN’S EYES AND ALL THE PLANETS CHECK OUT THOSE PLANETS enhanced digital effects,

then you should definitely check that out.
