I wanted to update everyone on my thesis research. Tumblr has been a huge part both in inspiration and financial support of my research in the Ecuadorean Amazon.
Currently, my permits are pending via the Ecuadorean government. I hope to leave for a 7 week stay by the end of June. I have acquired a spider expert on my committee, as well as a functional ecologist. I am currently working on my thesis proposal (that’s my spring break!). And could not be any more excited for my first field season.
That is me high above the rainforest canopy in Yasuni, Ecuador. Thank you all for continued support and interest in my research. I can’t wait to share the photos I will take (last time I took 7000!).
