I usually think of The Iconic woodpecker as a pileated woodpecker, though I don’t think you get those in Santa Barbara county (tbh I’m kind of laughing a lot at the idea of those in that location). Anyway, if you’re looking for advice, I’d say not to include it.
Agreed. I’ve got plenty of woodpeckers to talk about. (And no, no Pileated records in SB county according to Lehman.)
