Hello friends!

So I’ve been posting a decent amount about this for my followers, but haven’t properly reached out to the fandom(s) at large to ask for their help in funding this project!

If you don’t know, The Wayward Guide for the Untrained Eye is a webseries with an accompanying podcast that is looking to be funded on Kickstarter. Due to the production size including a massive cast, the goal is pretty high. They’re three days in and about 16% funded, and its veryyy important to me that it gets funded!

This webseries is a production by the Tin Can Brothers which was created by Joey Richter, Brian Rosenthal and Corey Lubowich. If you are not familiar with their work, you might have seen them working with Team Starkid on the Very Potter Trilogy, as well as various other projects.

So far, the cast comes from tons of different web projects, not only members of Team Starkid (Joey Richter, Brian Rosenthal, Corey Lubowich, Dylan Saunders, Nick Lang); the Lizzie Bennet Diaries (Mary Kate Wiles), Emma Approved (Joanna Sotomura) and Frankenstein MD (Steve Zaragoza). Not to mention Jon Cozart (on Youtube as PAINT) and Clayton Snyder (i.e.: Ethan Craft from Lizzie McGuire AND Dostoevsky in Poe Party)

If you’re not convinced by my pitch, or are unfamiliar with the caliber of their work here are some examples:

And here are several projects with many cast/crew members in common:

So basically, I am appealing mainly to people from outside of the Tin Can Brothers Fandom, and even outside of the Team Starkid fandom (which are pretty in common) because many of the more dedicated fans are too young to donate/unable to do so. I am appealing to fans of Darren Criss (who has worked on various projects with the TCB and members of this cast, including the Very Potter trilogy, their concert tours and Darren’s recent music videos Every Single Night and Lost Boys Life), Jon Cozart (even if you’ve just seen Harry Potter in 99 Seconds!), Pemberley Digital (or, tbh, any of the webseries from the last several years which adapt literature) and Shipwrecked Comedy (because so many of these people are in common!).

One of the most important things to me is being able to fund independent projects for online, as they are generally not profitable and look solely to create and offer incredible stories to the public with accessibility.

So, if you have even $5 to spare, it would be greatly appreciated AND, if you send me a screenshot of your confirmation email (hiding your info and email pls lol) I will make you a gifset of your choosing! Even if its a fandom I am completely unfamiliar with, I will more than gladly gif it. Even you want me to gif my NOTPs I will do it with pleasure; it could even be a random crackship that I can put together for you!

If you don’t want a gif still let me know you donated! I would be so thrilled to hear from you. And please reblog this even if you can’t its important to get the word out!

From the bottom of my heart, please support The Wayward Guide for the Untrained Eye in support of independent art and artists, and specifically a group of people who want literally nothing more than to just provide amazing content for the world. Thank you!

P.S.: did I mention there’s werewolves in it?

Sounds like a good deal to us. Help our friends make an awesome thing!
