My wife works as a teacher’s aide in our local elementary school, in a district that is about 70% Latino.
She just phoned me while running an errand for her teacher. Children are crying in classrooms and on the playground. Multiple children, multiple classes. The principal is on the PA trying to reassure them, telling them their school is a safe place, they’re going to be okay, no one is coming to take their family members away.
