Rufous Hummingbird in nest

Talk about Macrophotography with a 600mm lens.  This nest was about 10ft off the boardwalk, I almost missed it.  If you never have seen a Hummingbird nest before they are tiny about the size of a children’s toy teacup or a golf ball. The light was really bad here 1/1000th second, f8 ISO1000, but still you can see two chicks. These chicks were very active.  I bird photography they tell you to focus on the eyes, but these chicks the eyes are still closed. There skin is almost translucent.  There was a breeze so the branch kept moving.  I took over 1000 shots and about ¾ of the shots were with the nest either below or above the lens view.  Really frustrating.
