Hi Sam! I totally understand your decision to discontinue the hugs thing. But I was wondering if there’s any chance you could just occasionally post a hug, sort of for whoever needs it (without doing it in response to asks). If you feel like that’d be leading down a slippery slope, too (or you’re getting as sick of hug gifs as you are of owls), then I’ll just plan to peruse your “hugs” tag every once in awhile. ;) Anyways, hope you’re doing well, and thanks for being awesome!
I’ve had quite a few people ask this and I think it’s a great idea. It would also be a good way to remind people – just posting a hug with “I no longer do individual hugs, but here is a hug for everyone who needs one”. And it’s not like I don’t have an entire library of hugs to work my way through :D What do you guys think, a Saturday Afternoon Hug For All?
