Pleas recommend me more musicals to watch/listen to!
The musicals that I’ve seen/heard are Hamilton, In The Heights, The Book Of Mormon, Hedwig And The Angry Inch, The Sound Of Music, Wicked, Spring Awakening, and RENT.you should watch heathers the musical!! there are bootlegs on YouTube and it’s one of my favs

- Chicago- Murdering ladies in the 1920′s (I personally haven’t seen)
- Sweeney Todd- Murder (I personally haven’t seen)
- Aladdin- Throw back to childhood, Aladdin is a street rat who finds the Genie, Jafar wants the Genie for power, and Jasmine wants true love, even if it’s with the street rat.
- Bonnie and Clyde- A musical about the robbing duo (I personally haven’t seen)
- Avenue Q- I’m not sure but my dearest @alexrayb really wants to see it so I’m sure it’s good.
- The Addams Family- Wednesday Addams is grown up and found love, but her boyfriend is “normal”. Great comedy with the lovely macabre family.
- Hairspray- pushing 1960′s boundaries with lots of singing and hairspray.
- West Side Story- Romeo and Juliet but with gangs in the 1950′s
- American Psycho- Murderer in the 1980′s. Quite gritty and nsfw from what I can tell.
(I personally haven’t seen)
- NIce Work If You Can Get It- A trio is hiding alcohol and a rich guy’s house in the 1920′s. But it’s the rich guy’s wedding weekend. And he’s fallen in love with the girl in the trio. Super jazzy and funny.
I’m not sure what really tickles your fancy, but here’s a list of some that I’ve heard are good or what I’ve seen.
Next to Normal (it’s got a lot of good actors, but the main selling point for people of tumblr is Aaron Tveit! This is where I first heard him).
Into the Woods, that orig. cast video is great.
