Tags: I've always liked modo's a lot, they've been displaced in the suburbs I've lived in, first by spotted doves, and then by Eurasian collared doves, but lately it seems like I've been seeing more of them, which always makes me happy, I don't know why I have these odd preferences for certain bird species, but they've been a consistent part of my birding behavior from the beginning, I guess it's like any fandom, you have your faves, you care about them, think of them as precious bb's, mourning doves are one of mine.
