Yesterday’s Young Feminist Day at #COP21 inspired this entry of Perrin’s Paris Journal. 50 women gathered to discuss the climate justice movement from their perspective. Panelists shared their experiences with decision making during climate change; how to reverse the victim narrative that is projected onto women worldwide; how to achieve real gender equity; and how to involve young women meaningfully in fighting climate change. See that picture of all the suits at the opening session on the right? The goal is to get a bunch more women in the mix.
