We just wrapped a three day shoot on Angie + Zahra, a short film I’m super mega excited to be making as part of the YouTube Space LA’s Halloween short film series. They kindly provided us with a set, and asked me (and seven other filmmakers, including friends!Rachel Kiley & Whitney Milam) to furnish them with a story.
Angie and Zahra are two characters who have been bubbling about in my brain for a long-ish while now. I can’t wait for you to meet them. Shoutout to my phenomenal actors Irene Choi and Yasmine Al-Bustami for bringing these two to life. It was the most fun I’ve had on set in a while, yay for female-led supernatural action/adventure coming-of-age comedies!
