What’s the second one called?
It’s Bloody Jack and it looks like it’s the first in a series that follows her adventures all over the world. I can’t give a full assessment yet, I’m only part of the way through, but I can tell you that if I’d read these as a pre-teen/kid I would have been obsessed. I’ve always been a sucker for this type of story, and this one is very fun and exciting if nothing else!
This just in: Amazon’s Kindle Store will let you read the first couple of chapters for free. Then it’s completely up to you; no pressure or anything. Just, you know, instant gratification for the price of a couple of lattes.
Like I have that kind of self-control.
