Tags: anyway, my wife was watching this the other day, and I just dipped in and out a few times, but I got kind of sucked in, and got her to explain a little to me of what was going on, and then I had to go back to work, but I was curious, so I looked up the rest of the plot on Wikipedia, and holy fucking shit!, ...was basically my reaction, and later, when I saw linda again after she'd finished watching, she was like, omg! I know right??!!, you gotta watch out for those staid, slow-paced period dramas, you think it's all crumpets and cucumbers and whalebone corsets and then, BAM!, right between the eyes, I now think I need to watch the whole thing.
