Tags: all very accurate, Randall Monroe is good that way, having now watched the trailer, (previous reaction was just from looking a gifset), I persist in being hopeful it will be good in the way the book was good, but fearful because movies with the budget to have that cast, are often stupid in a way that is antithetical to the way the book was good, and there was a fairly significant plot departure already visible in the trailer, so I'll have to wait and see, it does have Ridley Scott going for it, but that's not necessarily insurance against the particular kind of stupid, I'm worried about.
