First-year Tumblr me: Whoa; that post is strikingly odd and interesting, but not something I would ever like or reblog. Ugh; there sure are a lot of posts confidently asserting things that are completely untrue. And these strident calls for social justice: I think some of those anxious to educate others on privilege would benefit from checking their own youthful willingness to believe stridency alone is sufficient to effect change. May the Fourth? Oh okay, I get it. Clever.

Second-year Tumblr me: Hey, there’s that post again. There sure seem to be fewer laughably incorrect posts on Tumblr. Have the posts gotten better? Or is it just that I no longer notice? Social justice advocacy is cool; I’m lucky to have the chance to better understand my unexamined privilege. People still do May the Fourth?
Third-year Tumblr me: Haha; there’s that post again. *restrains self from hitting the Like button* Haha; what a ridiculously untrue post; ah, Tumblr. Sigh. Yeah, I should really spend the time to learn more about this latest outrage. Just not this second; I’m not ready for the sads. I’ll stash it in drafts and check it out after work. Oh; right. It’s May the Fourth. Again. :-\
