I’m a bit of a scrub here. What does house to half mean?
The scrub is getting some love from me.
House to Half is a often the first light cue of the show, literally bringing the house lights down to half, signaling to the audience that the show is about to begin. It’s a cue that I love calling, because it’s sort of when i enter calling mode and feel like I’m kind of one with the show. As an audience member it makes my pulse quicken and my chill goes down my spine.
So yeah…its the start of something beautiful.
