Hey guys, I’m looking for book recommendations. I read to my husband a lot and we don’t have anything to read at the moment.
Previous books include: Anne of Green Gables, Pride and Prejudice and Carpe Jugulum. So, I’m looking for something funny and probably about kickass women and easy to read aloud. (And it’s gotta be something I can get from my local library.)

Hm. I don’t recall if I actually made this recommendation the first time around, or just thought of making it, but you could read Fangirl to him. It’s funny and there’s a kickass woman or two and the “girl reading aloud to boy” part would be so meta that it makes me happy just thinking about it.
