I really liked her performance in Liberal Arts. But I was a little disoriented when I realized that the plot was telling me that no, she actually was the naive one, and the pretentious man-child played by the writer/director/star was the one whose view of the world was going to be validated.

I may have been set up by the fact that I only knew about the movie from the gifset I’d seen on Tumblr of her great line about how hating things is boring. What? The movie isn’t all about that? Why not?

Similarly, I suspect that if I actually watched Hart of Dixie it wouldn’t center on that beautiful moment of sweetness and vulnerability when Jaysene asked Cricket out.

You know what? Screw that. I’m keeping my gif-fueled headcanon. Zibby was right. Jaysene and Cricket grow old together, having adorable adventures. It’s Korrasami all the way down.

Turtles! Turtles I say!
