Latest on the fire…
The entire perimeter of the fire is not contained. Burnt bark and leaves have been falling at our house. At least two homes have been lost. And the winds are expected to do a full swing through 360 degree overnight. Which means they have no idea where the fire might end up. Our town has been specifically mentioned to be vigilant overnight.
So we decided to go stay with friends at a more distant town; so we shall be safe.
Ugh. So scary.
I live on the other side of the world, but this story could totally be me, too.
