It doesn’t go into detail about how Black sex workers are usually at higher risk for violence done against them, but the gist of the comic is very, very informative about sex work and HOW it works.

Tags: fun (?) fact: I have never been to a strip club, and the amount of my wishing to ever do so is a large negative number, the one time I experienced anything like that was at a bachelor party for a relative, where a stripper had been hired by someone to entertain, I found the experience (mostly the reaction by some of the attendees), profoundly depressing, not saying sex work can't be positive, or that some aspects even of problematic sex work can't be non-problematic, but man is there a huge problematic element in (many) men's attitudes and behavior toward it, which I thought this post did a good job of explaining.
