The foreground has old town buildings; the middle has the structures from four WW1 Zeppelin hangers, converted to Rīga central market in the 1920’s (still in use), and beyond, the Soviet-era TV and Radio Tower – the 3rd tallest structure in Europe.

I’ve been enjoying all the wonderful Riga photography lately from bourbakiaxiom. Besides making me think of Horatio Hornblower, it also makes me think of The Weepies, and those are two things I love being made to think about. And neither one of them is even the actual place, which looks amazing!
