I just really wanna know about how they made it rain I want to see pictures of the rigs
I have a whole video for that once the series is concluded. I scoured the internet looking up different rain rigs, we landed on two of which were quite simple and one which was a little more involved with PVC pipe and sprinkler head nozzles. We used different rigs in different shots. Our DPfigured out where the rain could fall in relation to the lights and camera – lights are just important as the rigs themselves to get the rain to read on camera. We ran camera tests of the rain before production to compare how the rigs worked individually. My lovely mechanical engineering roommate who designs theme parks and roller coasters as her real life job helped me a lot through the building of the main rig.
