If you were willing to explain more about why you want it, and what you would do with it if you had it, I would be very interested in hearing that.
I don’t want to give you the wrong impression. The answer will still be “almost certainly not” even if you take the time to send those details. But you will only be losing the time it takes to write and submit your response, and you apparently already thought it was worth doing that for your initial request, and even thought it was worth typing three ordinary “pleases” plus a special elongated one. And I can see that for the elongated one you didn’t just mash down the ‘e’ key and hold it down to type multiple letters; you took the time to duplicate the ‘s’ as well. I appreciate the extra effort that required. You’ve already made me think more highly of you than I do of a number of previous URL suitors.
Regardless of whether we continue our correspondence, thank you for asking so nicely, and for making me feel like the possession of the ‘lies’ Tumblr URL makes me a tiny bit special.
Everyone is special, of course. But it’s nice to have a specific thing, even something that, honestly, is no real indication of my actual worth as a person, that I can reflect on in the darkness when I’ve woken from a nightmare and need that sort of reassurance.
It’s okay. I still have the ‘lies’ Tumblr URL. Somewhere out there, someone wishes they were me, if only for long enough to transfer the URL to them so they could then resume their previous existence, only now with the benefit of a cooler, or at least shorter, URL.
