This is one of my absolute favorite scenes from Eleanor and Park so, naturally, I had to draw it. I HAD TO.
Spoiler: It was the scene where Park went straight for Eleanor’s house after his Taekwondo practice at night just so they could read the latest Watchmen together. I thought it was very sweet of Park. I don’t remember if it was snowing exactly, but the way I pictured it, it was cold, and Park couldn’t wait to see Eleanor, so he didn’t bother to change out of his dobok. When the two of them were finally sitting on the back stoop of the elementary school (right next to Eleanor’s house), it began to snow. And the heat each of them were giving off was enough to warm the air around them. So they read, together. (Now I stop here because if I write some more, it will turn into a messy, emotionally damaging fan-finction.)
This is why it’s my favorite scene. I thought it was magical.
