we really need to see Emma’s dad soon- it’s not Emma without her father being a part of it! And she hasn’t even mentioned him yet, aside from references to him funding her company.
Not sure it’s going to happen. Mr. Bennet was a pretty significant part of P&P, and we never saw him in LBD. Though I guess we did get costume theater, which it kind of looks like we won’t be getting in EA, so maybe they’d think that makes it more important to include Emma’s dad on-camera?
I bet we won’t see Emma’s dad. Except for the final gag of seeing Jenni Powell’s arm, they never showed a character over the age of 30 on-camera in 100 episodes of LBD. (We did get a few seconds of Hank, who’s 33, but only in a Q&A video.)
