Conversation Between Me and My Roommate After I Posted a Picture of Him as Levi from Rainbow Rowell’s Fangirl
Me: I put up the picture of you and the author reblogged it! And she thinks you look like Levi too!
Gavin: <3 <3 <3
Me: I may just spend the rest of the night posting pictures of you captioned “Levi does this…” “Levi does that…”
Gavin: Woah now. You should DEFINITELY ask before you turn my personal brand into “romantic lead in a YA novel.”
Me: of course. I’ll retire you, but you should know you have a bit of a following already.
Gavin: Look at all the <3s I have! I'm just gonna go ahead & say 33 is enough to qualify me as tumblr-famous.
Also loving the tag “also gavvy is a pretty swoony name.”
Me:That’s from the author! Maybe she’ll name a character after you! Is that the accepted spelling of Gavvy? I really like the double v for some reason.
Gavin: It is spelled correctly. But I also think she’s wrong! Maybe I’m just narcissistic, but I think “Gavin” is way sexier than “Gavvy.”
…then again, it’s hard to beat “Gavin” as a name in any circumstance.
Me: double v man, it’s all about the double v.
Like, Gavie is a really unsexy name, I’ll give you that
Gavin: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gavvy_Cravath
“While playing in California, Cravath reportedly picked up his nickname of “Gavvy” by hitting a ball that killed a seagull (“gaviota” in Spanish) in flight.”
Me: sex on a plate.
Gavin: AAAAAHAHAHA
