If the text on Emma’s site was written by Harriet? Then I 1000% approve. Because it does sound a little like Harriet, personal assistant? MISS WOODHOUSE IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND CLEVER. And Harriet’s writing would be all goofy.
Because I do think Emma herself would be a bit more subtle and elegant? But perhaps not.
ETA: Damn. Fefy says that Harriet’s Twitter account lists her as unemployed. Ah, well.
That’s too bad. Because otherwise it would be easier to think that this was intentional:

Though I guess one could still choose to interpret it as an intentional character-revealing slip, even if it was Emma, not Harriet, who made it. In light of the Foreward though, I expect the explanation is more mundane.
