James Tissot, born in France, spent most of his career in England as a famous painter.
The lady in his painting is Kathleen Newton, the love of his life. Sadly she died so early by tuberculosis.
After her death he left England.
In the pictures she looked so beautiful.
One more thing I found was the style, pattern, and colors of fabric are gorgeous, yellow and black, love that!
