Started fangirling over Eleanor & Park again—or really, Park’s parents. There’s so much I could say about why I love his parents. Not only do they love each other, but their passion is apparent throughout the entire novel (Park hates the “welcome home tongue-kisses.” I love it.) Oddly enough, I personally know a family extremely similar to Park’s: Irish father (also in the army), Korean mother, with one son and daughter. They’re exactly the same way. Everything about these two make me smile. Sorry Eleanor and Park, but his parents take the gold for favorite couple.
