A story for the LBD Fandom
So on January 26th (in the middle of the Lyckham arc) I sent this tweet at 1 A.M. PST (4 A.M. my time) to Lydia.
I’m pretty sure that I woke up, saw her and Wickham tweeting back and forth with each-other, and thought it would be fun to pull a quote from Episode 2, tell her she’s worth more, and go back to sleep.
I don’t actually remember writing it, but there you go.
I felt comfortable doing this because Lydia Bennet is a fictional character. There was no person that I was hurting by writing this tweet. I do not slut-shame in actuality. Trust me, I have no business slut-shaming.
Anyways, so I got a little bit of flack about this afterwards but then this happened…
And then my Tumblr inbox started crying. I started to wonder if my tweet had actually been taken into consideration when writing the script.
So I messaged Rachel Kiley, who wrote this episode and is basically an awesome possum perfect person. This was her response…
