Kai Chang’s Favorite Liar
We have Onan to thank for bringing my attention to this one: My Favorite Liar.
As the quarter progressed, the Lie of the Day became more subtle, and many ended up slipping past a majority of the students unnoticed until a particularly alert person stopped the lecture to flag the disinformation. Every once in a while, a lecture would end with nobody catching the lie – which created its own unique classroom experience…

That was funny Knarly, I find it interesting that people have so much time on their hands they will spend hour after hour producing a fine spoof like that when they could be doing something so much more productive, like debating the same issues over and over again on a blog somewhere :-)
The special forces use a similar technique in their training. Since the major part of their mission isn’t killing people but reconnaissance and training others to kill, it is important they can make observations without making notes. So every day something is amiss in the classroom or the hallways. Two pictures were reversed that sort of thing. It is their job to find the discrepancy.
