The desk is OK for political types, but for entertainment-industry guests, like Billy Bob Thornton the other night, it’s just weird.
We can rebuild the couch! We have the technology!

Don’t know if you caught it or not, but Jon actually mentioned the Internet campaign to bring back the couch on the show yesterday. The family sat down to watch the show, I mentioned to them that I’d posted a link to the Bring Back the Couch guy, and then Jon led with the mention of the same thing. I said, “See? Jon reads Lies.com!”, which had my wife really impressed for a few seconds, until I said, well, actually, in the last few days that Bring Back the Couch site has become really popular, which is how I found it. So probably not so much with the Jon-reading-lies.com thing.

Wouldn’t that be cool if he was in discussions in here? For all you and I know, it could be me, it could be anyone!
I think the “couch campaign” is pretty funny, but like I said in another post, a few weeks and everyone will forget the old set. It still is by far the most entertaining half hour of television!
