Christopher of EverythingOnce (formerly of NotMyDesk) has finished describing his experience of taking a spoon-bending class (available in Parts One, Two, and Three), and it’s not to be missed.

I’ve only skimmed through the first installment; I’m going to go back and read the whole thing. But in the meantime, it reminded me of one of my favorite bits of movie dialogue ever:
Spoon boy: Do not try and bend the spoon. That’s impossible. Instead only try to realize the truth.
Neo: What truth?
Spoon boy: There is no spoon.
Neo: There is no spoon?
Spoon boy: Then you’ll see that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.
Good advice, if you ask me. And not just about spoons.

Good advice as in “you can do anything if you manage to delude yourself into thinking you did it”? I guess that’s worked pretty well for Bush.

Oops, my rimshot didn’t come out at the end of that comment. Ahem.
