Tags: here we are, fun fact: that ring close-up from the Pass of Caradhras sequence, is of a stunt ring, that was nearly a foot in diameter, you see one of the props people polishing it, in one of the bts features, we've been rewatching the movies recently, after a year or two of letting them lie fallow, and it's kind of amazing to realize, how much detail we obsessives processed at the time, b/c pj & co made so much of it available, the movies were so fandom-friendly, and the net was newly good at eliminating all distance between us, and well.
