Tuesday, June 18th, 2013I didn’t manage to get my own collection in here, but it looks like all the Sherlock Holmes I have access to right now are in there anyway (I grew up with that nice red-dust-jacket facsimile Strand edition, and graduated to a Barnes and Noble complete facsimile edition just before I went to college. The latter is too big and delicate for me to lug around the country, though, so it sits, beautiful and alone, in my parent’s house in Minnesota).
And they chose my second favorite speech from the show to do it! (First favorite is the “I am a man of details, and it matters to me.”) Anyone who thinks this show doesn’t care about canon, and doesn’t care about books and book fans, is quite simply wrong.
