“I’m very angry. I’m angry that Bobby Newport would hold this town hostage and threaten to leave if you don’t give him what he wants. It’s despicable. Corporations are not allowed to dictate what a city needs. That power belongs to the people. Bobby Newport and his daddy would like you to think it belongs to them. I love this town. And when you love something, you don’t threaten it, you don’t punish it. You fight for it. You take care of it. You put it first. As your City Councilor, I will make sure that no one takes advantage of Pawnee. If I seem too passionate, it’s because I care. And if I come on too strong, it’s because I feel strongly. And if I push too hard, it’s because things aren’t moving fast enough. This is my home, you are my family, and I promise you, I’m not going anywhere.”

Tags: anyway, hrc ftw, i'm going to stop tagging clavisa in these, but you can assume anything hillary-fandom-related I post, has an implicit @-mention of clavisa in it, guess that's not a tag, whatever you call it, I think maybe clavisa is like charlie in that speech by willard, in apocalypse now when the playmates are fleeing, and soldiers are falling off the helicopter, which is a horribly discordant reference to drop, into this post or anything like it, making this perhaps the least-comprehensible buried-in-the-tags observation, i have ever made, but anyway, clavisa didn't get much uso, she was dug in too deep or moving too fast, clavisa's idea of great r&r, was a little cold rice and rat meat, she had only two ways home, death or victory, so if she doesn't follow me, (which she doesn't), and doesn't have time or inclination to notice these hrc ftw posts, i'm gonna assume it's because, she's way ahead of me, I'm super happy that it appears we're going to elect RL leslie knope, b/c I think she's going to be great.
