Reading Jon Klassen’s I want my hat back made me want to experiment with Inkscape again – simple shapes but with added texture.

So my husband kindly made up a story for me (entitled I want moonsnacks) and I sketched while he told me the story and maybe I’ll illustrate the rest of it one day but, for now, here is a little giraffe staring longingly at the moon.
