A fun thing about amateur astronomy is that you learn what different parts of the sky look like. Then when unlabeled photos come through your dash you have the fun game of saying hm, do I know what part of the sky that is?

That tight group of stars is the Alpha Persei Cluster, Collinder 39. It’s awesome in binoculars.

Do you live in the northern hemisphere? If the sky is clear tonight you should totally check it out.
