Tags: hrc ftw, the part where she said it is, it is worth it, was the part where I teared up, she's always had that thing about sounding stilted, and guarded, like she's parsing her words carefully and delivering them a little self-consciously, because of course she is, and with good reason, but it's really just who she is, and it's probably a factor in her enemies' ability to portray her as inauthentic, because unlike her awful opponent, who is ALL affect, all the APPEARANCE of sincerity, without the substance, hillary is actually good, it apparently comes off one on one, which is why she inspires such loyalty, but in a mass-communication setting it mostly doesn't happen, except once in a while, like that time in new hampshire in 2008, about not wanting to see us fall backward, and this speech, when she said it is worth it, and you could see, that she was telling it to herself.
