People often ask me what’s the main reason for me to work with photography and I have to admit; to me half the time photography is not even about photography itself. The biggest part of photography and art in general to me is to let go. Let your mind wander off, imagine and allow yourself to follow your intuitive & unconscious thoughts and behavior. I love being immersed in a world I’ve created myself and feel that I can be one with my expression and inner self. And being the huge daydreamer that I am, I often think of how special it is to be able to capture a moment through a tiny little lens that represents how I’m seeing and experiencing my surroundings, let alone being able to share them with others.
Currently I’m brewing on something new and it’s making me anxious and excited at the same time. I’ll announce more by the end of this year! For now here’s a memory of a perfect spring day in the woods with my dear friend Fairuz.
